The Alternative Board

Jonathan is The Alternative Board’s facilitator for the Bristol North region. This means he is working with businesses in the centre of Bristol as well as businesses based in places around Bristol such as Kingswood, Almonsbury, Stoke Gifford, Yate and Chipping Sodbury.

Jonathan has over 30 years of business experience having spent the first 10 years as an accountant in public practice and the subsequent 20 years in the not for profit sector either as Finance Director or Chief Executive.

Jonathan’s career has always been about supporting and developing people and their businesses. Whilst his work in the not for profit sector was supporting people through the services that were provided by the organisations, it was invariably in an environment where the funds were maximised by ensuring that the activities were being run in the most efficient and effective possible way. This has been achieved though his expertise in investments, fund management, property development, property management, retail outlets and the provision of services.

Having been Chief Executive of organisations with between 4 and more than 200 people, Jonathan understands how to deliver success for organisations and the challenges that go with achieving this.
